Dr. Tian Xiaoming is a baritone singer, vocal educator, and independent musician with extensive experience in vocal performance, music production, and digital media. With a teaching philosophy that blends technical precision, expressive artistry, and modern production techniques, he has guided students of all ages in their vocal development. His approach incorporates professional recording methods, personalized instruction, and a deep understanding of the vocal characteristics unique to children, adolescents, and adults. Having worked extensively with young singers, he is well-versed in nurturing developing voices, while his experience as a vocal coach for large choirs also demonstrates his expertise in adult vocal training. His Youtube channel "Chord to Joy" and Zoom lessons attract students from across China, the United Kingdom, and multiple U.S. states, reflecting his adaptability to diverse musical backgrounds.

Dr. Xiaoming provides students with high-quality studio recordings using professional equipment and Logic Pro, allowing them to analyze their vocal technique and gain hands-on experience with industry-standard production. As a skilled pianist and arranger, he offers customized piano accompaniments, which he makes available on his YouTube channel to support student practice. In addition to vocal training, he produces professional music videos for his students using Final Cut Pro and DSLR equipment, helping them refine both their musical and stage presence. An accomplished performer, Dr. Xiaoming has received numerous accolades, including the Gold Prize in the inaugural "Chinese Vocal Competition – Peacock Award" and the Overall Championship in the Sinovision C.S.O.C. Competition. He was twice awarded full scholarships to the prestigious Music Academy of the West's Young Artists Program, where he studied under renowned mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne.
